Resident site Custom Field Data

To guide your resident to finding the information loaded into the Custom Field section:

Tell them to:

 

  1. Log Into BuildingLink.
     
  2. Then Select the My Profile button at the top right of the screen.

     
  3. Select the Unit Info tab.

     
  4. Scroll down until they see the Additional Unit Info section.

    The custom field data will be displayed here.

NOTE: For a resident to be able to see this data, you must ensure that they have been given viewing permissions for it.

 

To check this, go to the Settings Tab, and select Custom Fields Definitions.

 

Find out if your data belongs to the Physical Unit, Unit Profile/Occupancy or Occupant category. Bring that tab to the front and find your data.

 

Have a look at the viewing permissions. If you need to change it, click the Edit button and make the necessary changes, then save.

 

Do note that the terminology here means as follows:

Tenant = Owners

Sub-tenant = Tenant.
